OUR PRICING POLICY

1. Online Shopping

By submitting an order to us through our website, you represent and warrant that the payment details provided on your order are valid and correct, and that when your order is accepted and processed by us, payment will be made in full. If the Billing details for your order are the same as your Delivery address details, by placing an order on the website you confirm that you are the person referred to in the Delivery address details. Otherwise, by placing an order, you confirm that you are the person referred to in the Billing details.

Visitors under the age of 18 should not register with this website or submit any information to us.

2. Registration

You warrant that:
The Personal Information which you are required to provide when you register as a customer is true, accurate, current and complete in all respects; and

You agree not to impersonate any other person or entity or to use a false name or a name that you are not authorised to use in accordance with the Licensing Act of 2003.

3. Acceptance of your Order

Shortly after you have placed an order with us by pressing the ‘Make a Payment Button.' You will be charged 100% of your advert cost upfront with an email which will be sent to you acknowledging the exact details of your order. This email is not an order confirmation or order acceptance from Yacht Friend.

Order acceptance and the completion of the contract between you and Yacht Friend will take place when your contract for advertising or banner slots has been emailed to you with a read receipt attached, unless you have cancelled the order in accordance with the Order Cancellation instructions set out below.

Non-acceptance of an order may be a result of one of the following:

Your credit card or payment being declined
Our inability to obtain authorisation for your payment
The identification of a service level pricing or description error

4. Order Cancellation

By returning your acknowledgement email to us stating your intention to cancel the order.


Refund Policy

Where your online service is returned to us within 5 working days of delivery, or you notify us in writing or by email of your wish to cancel your website project within this period, the cost of your order will be reimbursed in full.

If however you do not inform us that you are cancelling the project by email or by postal delivery, then we reserve the right to take funds out of your full advertising deposit as design criteria which will be in your contract.

Within 14 working days – 50% of your advertising fees
Within 21 working days - 75% of your advertising fees
Within 31 working days – No Refund will be issued over and above this time.

If you want to cancel or you have changed your minds then that is your right, but please inform us so that we do not waste valuable resources on a project that has already finished, then fees won't be asked for.

5. Cancellation Instructions

6. Payment Methods

We accept payment by Pay Pal, BACS , Cheques and Bankers Draft only.
The total amount you pay is unaffected, regardless of the payment method used.
Please note that Yacht Friend does not accept cash or gift vouchers as payment.

7. Pricing Policy

All prices shown on the website are in Pound Sterling (£) and are inclusive of VAT at the current rate. Prices may change and offers may be withdrawn at any time.

Our prices are reviewed regularly.

8. The Website

We may change the Yacht Friend website and correct or update information (including product information) on it at any time without notice. Except in relation to the description of products and services available for order from our website, we do not guarantee and are not responsible for the accuracy of any information provided on the website. We do not represent or warrant that the material contained in the website, any of the functions of the website and the server will operate without interruption or delay or will be error-free, free from defects, viruses or bugs or compatible with any other software or material. Accessing the website is entirely at your own risk. You must not transmit through or to our website any defamatory, threatening, obscene, distressing, harmful or pornographic material or material which may infringe upon the rights of others (including intellectual property rights, rights of confidentiality or rights of privacy) or which does not comply with all relevant laws.

9. Liability and Indemnity

We shall not be liable for any indirect, or consequential loss of whatever nature, including damage to software or hardware, loss of data, damage for loss of business, loss of profits, or any other indirect or consequential loss arising out of or in connection with your use of the website (including without limitation, any such loss arising out of or in connection with any order placed on the website, whether or not accepted by us). You agree to indemnify us and our agents and officers, directors and employees, immediately on demand, against all claims, liability, damages, costs and expenses, including legal fees, arising out of any breach of these Terms and Conditions by you. We may terminate your use of the website immediately if we consider that you have breached these Terms and Conditions.

We may modify or withdraw, temporarily or permanently, this website or any part thereof, with or without notice to you and you confirm that we shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification to or withdrawal of the Website; and/or change the Conditions from time to time, and your continued use of the Website (or any part thereof) following such change shall be deemed to be your acceptance of such change. It is your responsibility to check regularly to determine whether the Conditions have been changed. If you do not agree to any change to the Conditions then you must immediately stop using the Website.

The website is controlled and operated in the UK. These Terms and Conditions and all matters connected with any order you place in our website are governed by English law and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts in relation to all matters connected with or arising out of the website or any order you place on the website.

If any part of the Conditions shall be deemed unlawful, void or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed to be severable from the Conditions and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any of the remaining provisions of the Conditions. Your Statutory Rights are not affected by these terms and conditions. The Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.

A person who is not a party to these terms and conditions shall have no right to enforce any term under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.

We may assign or transfer any of our rights or sub contract any of our obligations under these terms and conditions to any third party.

These Terms and Conditions supersede all previous Terms and Conditions, representations, undertakings and agreements.

You are permitted to link to our homepage, provided that the link is not misleading, false, derogatory, or otherwise prejudicial to our (or our affiliates) suppliers interests, but you are expressly not permitted to use any of our logos or graphics either as or in connection with such a link without express authority from Yacht Friend.
